All full-time teachers at Brevard County public schools are eligible to participate. Program runs September, 2007 through May, 2008.
A "Teacher of the Month" is selected by LifeStyle Homes on the last day of each month (or last Friday of each month, if the last day is on the weekend). The Teacher of the Month will be notified by their principal and will receive items from his/her wish list. The items, which is awarded to the Teacher of the Month, may travel with that teacher, should he/she be relocated to a different school within Brevard County. A teacher may be recognized only one time as Teacher of the Month. Teachers will also receive a tote bag filled with items from LifeStyle Homes and participating area businesses.
At the end of the 2007/2008 school year, one Grand Prize Winner will be selected by LifeStyle Homes from all winning the Months, during the school year. The grand prize will be a classroom "makeover." This makeover will include aesthetic enhancements, as well as items needed in the selected classroom. The makeover will occur during the summer months, before the next school year begins in August. Should the makeover classroom teacher be relocated to a different school within Brevard County, he/she may not take any item(s) from the room with him/her to that new location/classroom.
The value of the prizes listed above may not be exchanged for cash value or assigned. LifeStyle Homes in its sole discretion will determine the total value for the classroom makeover.
