Company Philosophy at LifeStyle Homes
 At LifeStyle Homes our strength is in our people, very nice people, yes,
and very talented, too. But the strength comes from the values and commitment they share as a community of builders, and builders of community. To some people, the notions of honesty, integrity, fair play,
a strong work ethic, and a sense of duty are little more than words. At LifeStyle Homes, they make up the principal value of every team member.
The dedication of these values at LifeStyle Homes started with the it's founders, John Luhn and Larry Hufford, who were raised in small town America and to whom these beliefs were a way of life.
Times have changed, and LifeStyle Homes has grown, adding team members and developing new communities in Florida, creating better designs, and helping hundreds of homeowners achieve The American Dream. What hasn't changed is the original vision that started the business back in 1984, and the core values which guide it today:

The founders of LifeStyle Homes were raised in small town America. There, everyone knows everyone else and very little goes unnoticed. Honesty, integrity, fair play, strong work ethics and duty are a way of life. In small town America these values are mandatory. And these very same values are the core, the foundation, and the roots of LifeStyle Homes, and the basics for everyone who works here.

In the 1970s Larry Hufford and John Luhn were high school teachers and coaches in Lakeland, Florida. Economic realities led them to utilize their construction backgrounds and they joined a large central Florida home builder. In 1984, John and Larry went off on their own and started their own company-LifeStyle Homes. They proudly completed the very first LifeStyle Homes model in South Brevard County shortly thereafter. Since then, the company hasn't just grown...it has prospered.
Today, over 20 years and over 1,000 homes later, John and Larry are proud of what LifeStyle Homes has become - a true team of dedicated, professional builders and staff. A team which embraces the small town values that have always been, and will always be, the core of LifeStyle Homes. |
